TodayÂ’s Ways to Use It Challenge (WT649) on Splitcoast is Domestic InspirationÂ…be inspired by something in your home. Whaaaaaaaat? IÂ’m in the process of moving. What isnÂ’t already boxed is waiting to be boxed. My home resembles nothing so much as a fire sale. But I still have some pictures so I was inspired by this (you can see the picture in the lower right in front of the card).
In fact, we were the “parents” of Odie (the bird) for almost 27 years until his passing a few years ago. DRS Designs named the parrot image Odie Pretty Bird after him. Pretty Bird was his favorite thing to say..especially if he was misbehaving. And he would from time to time, look you in the eye & lie to you, lol. “Odie, did you do this?” He’d shake his head & repeat “no, no, no”. We called it his SOB defense, as in Some Other Bird did it. I miss that little character every day!
Thanks so much for looking. Off to do more packing! More details & Copic colors are on my blog: The Write Stuff
