What a fun challenge from Sabrina today! I was really happy to be challenged to use strips of paper because I have a lot! In fact, this card took me a very long time because I had to look through all my strips of paper to find just the right ones. The thing is, I love them all, so my Bargello background (fun technique that's new to me!) has all kinds of totally random patterns and colors. Some day I will try this technique with an actual pattern.
This card is for my coworker who is retiring soon. She is a big time cat person and supporter of her local animal shelter, so I had to go with a yoga cat.

Such a fun card! Your bargello background is fabulous and your yoga cat made me laugh. I'm sorry, but I am NOT relaxed when I try to do a tree pose. That said, the cat, sentiment, and card is fabulous!

Oh, I know! I usually just raid my box for papers that I think will go together and look OK, but once I used several coordinating papers from a pad. I think your choices look great - fun and happy. And your Bargello turned out Beautifully. Thanks for trying something new - and liking it enough to think you'll try it again!
What a great technique, love how you could easily use scraps. Its a fabulous backdrop to your cute image.
Thank you for joining us at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge.
