It's been while since I've posted anything on Splitcoast. It's good to be back. I don't typically do a lot of Stampin Up only projects anymore but I believe this one fits the bill. Its a very clean and simple monochromatic card using the Beautiful Branches Thinlets as the focal point and Petite Pairs sentiment. I just love this thinlet set and hope to do more with it again soon.

First, welcome back, Cindy!!! I too haven't been creating in awhile, and I know how good it feels to be able to upload a card--and what a STUNNING one!!!
I was first drawn in because it was all in white, and I too have been intrigued with making an all-white card. WOW, I wasn't disappointed when I went in to look closer, I was impressed!
First, I LOVE that Thinlits set, I don't know of this one, and I absolutely LOVE hydrangeas, and I love the cut-out detail in the leaves. My mind is racing as to how I'd love to play with these. I love it when a really wonderful card inspires me--thank you!!! Also love the cut-out detail of the blossoms on the hydrangea. I think that your choice of EFs was so right--it adds texture without taking away from the focal image of the wonderful flower. I also was impressed with your using just a touch of another color in the ribbon on the stem and the ink to stamp your sentiment. I like that you've chosen a darker color over perhaps a gold or silver embossing, it was an interesting choice and I think a very good one. I have that same EF and I like to use it...
I look forward to checking out your gallery, and also to seeing more of your cards here as you can upload. Cindy, this card is WONDERFUL!!! Is that Thinlits set of the hydrangea and leaves a current one? It is so imposing and lovely on your card.
As a sympathy card, it is sure to bring great comfort by your words inside and also the fact that you've gone to so much trouble to hand-make a card will show of your caring of those who are dealing with the grief of the loss of a dear loved one.
Thank you for inspiring me on a day when I can do little but look, but oh the joy of creating with this set sometime perhaps gives me joy. And the joy of seeing such beauty--wonderful. Sorry this is so long...
