IC585 - Details, Ribbons, Bows. I found these two images that really were quite beautiful: Image 1 & Image 2,
I loved the colors in the first image and did similar colors on my card. The second image with the lacy bow made me think of this old lacy paper ribbon I have had forever and needed to use up. I glued down strips on a craft paper and had enough to cover the top. Then I embossed the brown bottom portion and trimmed the two edges with a fancy twine and finished off the twine with pearls. I added a strip of pearls under the focal and used some of my stash of die cuts for the sentiment. For the focal it is two layers of spellbinders die cuts and two of the new travel embellishmtnes from Green Duck. I finished off the card with another fun die cut in the upper right corner and a teal ribbon to match the teal in the Mayan Ruin image.
I would love it if you would check out my Blog: Shoe Girls Cards.
Thank you for looking!

Oh my goodness - I thought the lacy part was a die cut till I read your description! This card is a wonderful blend of contradictions - - I would never have thought to combine lace & pearls with burlap and twine but you made it into a seamless marriage of opposites!

Another endearing "big-eyed little people" embellishment to be the focal point of your sweet card, Lisa. Love the detail of the rows and rows of eyelet to create part of the bg.

Your bg is really reminiscent of the openwork of the lace, and the blue ribbon is so pretty!! Another sweet image for your panel. So cute!

There are so many wonderful elements on this card, Lisa! The lacy paper ribbon is beautiful with the lovely teal bow in the corner. The embossing on the oval that mats the darling Green Duck image and on the brown bottom is lovely. I love the fancy twine that you embellished with pearls - such a great addition. Such a great card, Lisa!
