This is for the Ways to use It Challenge – bells. Like the whistle on a train, the bell is used a means of communication and warning, especially at crossings. On this vintage train image, there is a tiny bell with a string into the cab for the engineer to pull when needed. This card is going to a friend who went into the hospital in early January for a 3 day stay and is still there! Due to complications, he needed a second surgery. Now it looks like his healing is finally on track. Today’s challenge gave me the inspiration for his card. I’ll send this with some jokes & riddles about trains to help pass the time. He can entertain the staff and his visitors. TFL

So pleased your friend is on 'the right track' now and I'm sure your clever card will cheer him up! The challenge has certainly inspired us to think about 'bells' a bit more. I think you get my vote for this challenge - it's perfect in every way!

Yikes, a 3 day stay and still there, how frustrating and difficult for your friend. I'm sure he will appreciate this, it's a great masculine card. You found a great bell for the challenge - and some wonderful background pape to set your train running through.

This was my mother's favorite bible verse - she loved it. I like the way you used the map of roads as a bg and then your silhouette of a train is so cool!!
