I can't believe it. I finally made a CAS card. This is for Bonnie and Loll's CAS mix it up challenge which you can find HERE. I had some mild success dropping alcohol ink on coated cardstock but it was so loud it would blind you. This die from Simon was a perfect way to use it. I die cut the card base, die cut the bright paper and inlaid this. I had reservations at first but it wasn't too bad. The worse was those itty bitty dots the seem to jump off the cutting plate into mid air and disappear. My first attempt I lost 1/3 of them. If the pieces stayed in the die this would be a lot easier by turning the die back over into the die cut card base and poke them in place with a pin. But that didn't happen. Thanks for looking!

Oh, Nancy - I LOVE this!! The bright colors of the alcohol ink are so striking on the white and the gold looks fab with them. Isn't that always the way - when you don't want those little pieces to stay in the die, they stay and when you want them to stay they go dancing all over the room! Glad you persevered and found them.
Faved!

Oh, sweet Nancy, I don't know how I missed this gorgeous card! Your work is so awesome and this card is no exception. The fantastic piece you created with alcohol inks and covered with the Simon die cut is very striking! The sentiment is great! Just a remarkable card, my friend!!
