I can't believe it. I finally made a CAS card. This is for Bonnie and Loll's CAS mix it up challenge which you can find HERE. I had some mild success dropping alcohol ink on coated cardstock but it was so loud it would blind you. This die from Simon was a perfect way to use it. I die cut the card base, die cut the bright paper and inlaid this. I had reservations at first but it wasn't too bad. The worse was those itty bitty dots the seem to jump off the cutting plate into mid air and disappear. My first attempt I lost 1/3 of them. If the pieces stayed in the die this would be a lot easier by turning the die back over into the die cut card base and poke them in place with a pin. But that didn't happen. Thanks for looking!

Wow Nancy, this is such a gem. The die with the bright bg inlaid into the holes looks awesome. However, the term " too bright" isn't in my vocabulary. Your patience sure resulted in a fantastic card. Wonderful CAS design.

WOW, I doubt I could even see those tiny pieces! But what a gorgeous card this made, Nancy! This is the perfect die for the alcohol ink piece and the perfect alcohol ink piece for this die! Thanks so much for sharing this with us at CAS Mix Up. BTW, Try a dryer sheet under your die. Sometimes the pieces will stick to that or the Press & Seal.

Gorgeous die cut Alcohol ink sun my friend. I love your CAS design too. How about just die cutting your card front and placing an alcohol ink background behind your white card front and popping up your card front with dimensionals? Sounds easier than trying to find all those teeny tiny pieces. TFS my friend and joining us at CAS Mix UP. Hugs...

Wow, Nancy! This is amazing, and I would never have guessed this card was yours. But I LOVE it! This die is fabulous, and I can only imagine the struggle with all these little dots - haha! I think Jennifer McGuire has a solution for that some months ago (but I never tried it). What a stunning CAS card, and I love the beautiful colors and embossed sentiment! Warm hugs, my friend!! xoxo
