This tag was created with the same technique I used on the Floating Inlay which you can see here. I used modeling paste in tiny patches on a large piece of mixed media paper using many stencils. When dry, many colors and media were used including sponging, spraying, watercoloring. When dry, I stamped between the modeling paste patches using Stamplorations Mixed media stamps and an unknown script stamp. This was a large piece so only a portion of the stamping shows. A small part of the script can be seen in the lower left corner. Once again I used an embossing dauber and various stencils. I did not match the stencils to the embossing paste but randomly applied Lindy Stamp Gang powders through various stencils and one by one, heat embossed. Inka gold was added in small parts.
Once again cutting an inlay into this was difficult but my custom ground metal plate did the job. I inlaid with shimmer sheets in gold and white. Die cut the Tim Holtz branch and hung the ornament with retired SU gold cord. Thanks for stopping by!

Jaw drop! Wow Nancy, I am speechless and that rarely happens my friend. This background is beyond amazing with all of the wonderful techniques you have tucked into this beauty; including stitching. My goodness. The gorgeous tree branch and ornament looks amazing with this back ground you created. This is a true work of art my friend. Have you ever considered framing these? I know I would frame them and enjoy them for years to come! You are one amazing artist my friend. Thanks for sharing your gorgeous works of art so we can all enjoy them. Hugs! ~Karen.

I just saw this on Pinterest and knew without a doubt that this was yours Nancy. I am not going to dwell on the fact that you continue to use products I don't own (mixed media paper, embossing daubers, Lindys gang stuff, custom made metal plate), even if I did have all of this I would be lacking the vital ingredient ...YOU!!!! Wow Nancy your creations continue to inspire me. I don't want Loll's 12 days of tags to end.

That is exquisite Nancy. I never thought of applying embossing powder through a stencil. Now I've got to try it. Can't wait to see how it works. Thanks for sharing.

I have made hundreds of cards and so many people say it has brought joy to their lives which, in turn, brings joy to my life. Almost everyone I give them to says that they always save me, which I consider a huge compliment.
