This card is for three challenges;
The colour challenge to use Daffodil Delight, Early Espresso & Old Olive with the dessert being fall/autumn flowers.
The sketch challenge for this week
The Free for All Friday challenge, I have used the first joke "April showers bring May flowers"
I live in the sub tropics so we don't really have mush season changes here, most things grow all year round although most things struggle during our hot humid wet summers, which is what we are heading into right now.
I used an old SU stamp set Upsy Daisy as my flowers for the dessert in the colour challenge and also for the Free for All Friday challenge.
I colored the stamp up with the SU markers, sprayed the watercolor paper then stamped directly onto this, touched up the daisy petals with the Daffodil Delight marker and scribbled some Early Espresso marker onto a high gloss tile then picked the colour up with a very wet mop brush and colored the background of the image, once dry I went over this area with the clear Wink of Stella.
I cut the doily from some white blending paper and sponged with Old Olive.
I attached the ribbon with Magic High Tack double sided tape.
I used some craft foam to the back of the watercolor image and attached it with PVA glue both to the image and the card.
I used X-Press It High Tack double sided tape for all the layers and finally attached some natural raffia at the top .... and that's all folks.
cheers
Marg

Marg, a lovely card .......and for three challenges, too. Love how you did your floral circle with soft coloring and shading. Wonderful choices in DPs and ribbon trims.

Fabulous. Wonderful card for all the challenges. Nicely done with the sketch. The ribbon for the banners is creative. Love the die-cut circle. I like how you used the colors. Cute card for the joke challenge. Well done. TFS

I love everything about your card!! The different patterns in the papers and ribbons are lovely. That image circle is stunning with the daisies and the bit of early espresso in the bg. Your raffia really gives it that wonderful warm feeling of fall. LOVE it!!

I absolutely love this card. In every way. My Mom would love this card as daisies are her favorite. I get the impression that this is an older set? Would you be able to check what

Sorry hit enter too soon. Was wanting to ask what year it was from. I've been purchasing SU! for many years. I would have thought I would have this stamp set. I'll be on the hunt for it. Thanks for sharing your talent.
