"They" say "Candy is dandy but liquor is quicker". Of course I have no idea what "They" meant when they came up with this one, but thought I'd just throw that out there for thought.
My Christmas paper came to the rescue today. It's craft with gold stripes. I even have a red heart so I can enjoy some delicious dessert. Now that's something that doesn't happen often. My propensity to cheat leaves little opportunity to earn dessert.
Since it's National Chocolate Day, I'm off to the store so I can celebrate with all the millions whose lives depend on chocolate for survival. I'm one of those people. Chocolate is the bane of my daily existence. I LOVE CHOCOLATE.
Now, go enjoy a piece of sheer delight by taking a huge bit of something chocolate and decadent.

Your card is so beautiful and elegant - lovely. And then that sentiment! It made me chuckle. Fun card. You create such lovely cards.
And yes, I'm a SU stamper. One of my college roommates introduced me to SU. I do have a few, miscellaneous stamps from other sources, but primarily my resources are SU. So I'm a Stampin' Up stamper and more a caramel girl than chocolate girl!

I LOVE this and smiled when I opened up the thumbnail! This is SO fun, Anne! That sentiment is fabulous and love that you used wrapping paper. The twine is perfect and so is that little heart. Awesome layering with stitched rectangles too.

Your card is scrumptious, Anne! Not only is that the perfect sentiment, but the paper and layout are marvelous. So glad to see you join me in the celebration and pursuit of chocolate! The darker the better and it's amazing with a glass of red wine ;)

This card reminds me of a fine box of chocolates....love the gold with the craft. The wee bit of the red is perfect. You do realize you have everyone thinking of chocolates right now. In a pinch the bag of chocolate chips works for me with some red wine. TFS

So cute and so perfect for National Chocolate day. Gee, I want to know about that sentiment-liquor is quicker than what? LOL I always enjoy your humorous write up and cards.
