Hello, sweet friends! This is a very different card for me in several ways. First, I used a CardMaps sketch from PageMaps.com, which was a real challenge for me. I don't often participate in sketch challenges, but it was good for me to get out of my "comfort zone." Second, I am not a green person, but it seemed to be the best DP I could find. I used this adorable vase of folk art flowers and a sentiment from another clear stamp - and then I worked at staying as close to the sketch as possible (although I probably could have allowed myself a bit more artistic license - hehe!). With the many dies I used, including the sweet little layered button array, this is a very mail friendly card.
And the big news is that Power Poppy is two years old today, and Marcella Hawley is celebrating with a big sale and a special birthday digi available only this weekend. So head on over to the party.
On a personal note, I have had the best week I've had in a very long time and have felt good for four days in a row. I praise God and thank you for your loving prayers, cards, notes, and pm's. They have meant so much to me, and I continue to be so blessed by the warm and caring SCS community! And my DH has decided to cancel the knee replacement surgery (for now) after seeing the surgeon last week. Needless to say, he is now a happy camper. But as I told him, "I'm watching you, fella!" Hehe!
As always, thank you so much for taking a closer look, and I hope you have a wonderful weekend! Stop by my blog for more details, including the CardMaps sketch. Big hugs, sweet friends! You are loved, and I am so blessed by you all!

This is so very dainty and pretty. First of all - I love that design paper - can't go past little tiny florals - addicted to them. Beautiful to see how you have picked out the colours of the design paper to colour your image too. Also - such a great little button that you have sewn onto your card.

Hi Cheryl........another adorable card from you for me to feast my eyes on!!!
Thank you very much for doing that. I love that Folk Art image so much that you enabled me to order it from Marcella. Thanks too, for the nice comment you left on my daisy card yesterday. It still feels like winter up here in CT. so I am spending more time in my studio lately. Keep those adorable cards coming, okay? So glad you got to spend time with Becky. I miss her a lot.
Hugs, Kerry
