My son brought over his girlfriend's daughter, 8 years old. She had never stamped before. I enjoy working with kids and watching their enthusiasm as they try new things and mixing colors is just so fun for them. We did stencil monoprinting fromthis tutorial by Lee Anne. She dug through my stamps for sentiments. This is always interesting because kids find stamps I've long forgotten I had or have never used. Thanks for stopping by.

So Nancy, have you and DH ever considered moving to sunny Southern California? I so want to go to your house weekly to "play". This is just amazing...tell Ashleigh that she has very good design taste. All 3 cards turned out beautifully.

Oh, Nancy, this is my favorite, and I'm sure Ashleigh loved each one! Was this her favorite as well? Be sure to tell her how much we all loved and admired her work. And kudos to you for encouraging her and helping to shape this precious and creative gal! Hugs, sweet friend! (P. S. Looking forward to your next visit!!)

WOW!! This is beautifully designed......an 8 yr old?? I would have thought one of the talented, much older SCSers, Nancy. The sense of design and color is phenomenal. You obviously could have a second career in nurturing young talent in art. Thank you for sharing Ashleigh's work with us. You are never too old.....or too young. : )

How fun! Love the background and she picked a perfect stamp! My daughter does that with her Bible Journaling - she digs through my stamps and comes up with the best ideas for her Bible Journal (I have to admit I have copied a few of them after I realized I had that stamp). Great card and so glad to see the next generation of stampers is so talented! Hugz
