I glued old book pages to cereal box chipboard before die cutting the birds and bird cage. The page I used for the birds had been sprayed with blue paint. I sponged faded jeans on around the edges of the birds and vintage photo on the bird cage.
I punched the tiny flowers & layered two together, then added some color with watercolor pencils & water brush, plus black dots in the centers.
I forgot to stamp a sentiment, but I will probably add one when I send out the card.

You really put a lot of work and details into this card and it paid off. So lovely. I love the color of your little birds. They are placed so sweetly on the card. Great job!

Now that is one level of detail that I think I should have used to glue the book pages to a cereal box! Thank you for the suggestion, I think I will do that on my next card with book pages. Love the script on the birds and the cage, they work so well to add that added bit of fun detail to your card. So detailed. Thank you for joining in on my challenge.

Melody, I love this! You have created such a beautiful scene, with the bird cage, tree branch and lovely flowers. I just love the birds and cage die cut out of the book page! A super touch.
