Hello, my sweet and dear friends! I have missed you and first have to say that I continue to be overwhelmed with the wonderful kindness shown me by the Teapotters since March 1 and the many other wonderful friends on SCS who have sent me cards of encouragement! Have I told you how much I love SCS and all the wonderful friends here? I do! And I hope you will see this card as a bit of deep appreciation for how much you've touched my heart with your warmth and love! Thank you!
I was so happy to be able to color again and join in for today's Instant Garden release by Power Poppy, and I so love these flowers! And I've learned about a new flower - the checkered lily! And it really is checkered! I had such fun and relaxation coloring this amazing image, and it is a lot of coloring. But it was such a delight after finding images of each one. After I finished coloring it, I fussed around with what to do about a layout and finally just matted it with Strawberry Slush and used one of my favorite Martha Stewart border punches - keeping it very simple. So that's it for this card, and I sure hope I can make another one soon. We had our youngest son here last week and also found out that my DH needs a knee replacement (and will most likely have the other one done a month later). But we believe he is going to feel lots better once he completely heals. So we are quite the pair the last couple of years with going to doctors! But God is so good and has provided us with such wonderful doctors!
So thank you so much for taking a closer look, and I hope you have a great week! Stop by my blog for more details. Big hugs, sweet friends!

Wow, Cheryl! I'm just seeing your marvelous card and I'm so glad to know you were able to craft! Welcome back, sweet lady. As for your card, it's so beautiful with the fantastically colored flowers, lovely butterfly, and cute bee (he looks like he has pollen on his legs)! The bottom border is gorgeous as well. Again, glad you're back, and I'm still praying for you and yours!

No wonder this card was favorited so many times on the week's favorite, Ms. Cheryl. Your work is so precise. Your coloring is wonderful, as always. Hope you are feeling better and are adjusting to med changes. I am sorry I've not send your TP card yet. Since returning from babysitting dogs in Charleston, SC, I've been running like crazy. This being Holy Week, I'll be able to spend some quiet days doing things I need to do. Sending you your card is number one on the list, my sweet friend. Happy Easter. Hugs
