This week's Teaparty is for Louise's 103rd birthday! See the Teapot Tuesday challenge for details and to join us in celebrating her. I'm also sneaking in another Color Bingo, 2nd row down and last week's TLC, Paint Your Stamps.
For bg, I embossed paper and sanded to highlight the text. Used watercolor crayons on misted stamps for flowers, then die cut. Applied liquid pearls to flower centers. Cut sentiment with Slice, and added twine to finish. TFL

What a delightful card! Your flowers work so well with the pretty textured BG - your watercolor effect is lovely as is the sanding. I love the big bold Happy Birthday wish - I hope that Louise can read that herself! I'm sure that all of your details will make this one of Louise's favorites. Thank you so much for coming to her birthday Teaparty, Carla...hope you got some of those delicate cookies. Please see my apology on the MMTPT398 thread. Big hugs from NJ.

The colours on this remind me of Japanese prints...but I think that's also influenced by the soft watercolour look of those beautiful flowers. The sanded background is a great way of adding texture.
