I wanted to road test distress ink, pencils and Peerless paints and have to say, they all look very similar, especially their hair.
The tag on the left was painted with Peerless paints, the middle tag was coloured with Prismacolour pencils (and a small swish of turquoise Inktense watercolour pencil). The pink girl was done with distress ink.
The trick to make colouring look good is to give the image a second stamping AFTER you have finished colouring it. I leave the rubber stamp in place in the MISTI after the initial stamping. Remove the tag, colour it, stencil, etc then put it back in the MISTI for a final stamping.
This is a good habit to get into, especially if you use alcohol markers. You can do the initial stamping in Memento, then the final stamping in any brand to give it more oompf.
Thank you for looking.

These are gorgeous - I love all three tags. That stamp is brilliant along with the perfect sentiment as well. Now I will have to pay a visit to Unity Stamps! I am using my Misti - but not nearly as accomplished as you are with it.
