Here is my sample card for Robin's fun Free for All challenge.
Here we have Bernadette and Odette all frocked up for a fun day out. As you can see, Bernadette is far more adventurous than her bestie, she has teamed her pink tutu with her pink biker boots!! Odette has teamed her pink feathers up with a hat in a darker shade of pink trimmed with pink pearls.
The girls were stamped with Gothic Purple Stazon ink, coloured with a couple of pink distress inks. Bernie's boots are by Stampotique, her skirt is by me. Odette's little hat is from a vintage lady stamp. I am not sure of the brand as not many wood mounted stamps have survived on their blocks since I bought a MISTI. The sentiment is by Unity Stamps.
The girl's legs are cut from a left-over piece of coloured and stamped cardstock then adhered to the card using a glue stick. The usual dotty tree and branch stamps were randomly stamped using Ranger Archival ink. The sentiment is stamped in Versafine (it is much darker than Archival).
The background was made with the usual smack & squirt technique on a full sheet of A4 cardstocl. I started by smacking Cracked Pistachio distress ink onto aluminium foil, squirt on a LOT of water, then use a foam blending tool to scrub and swish the inky water on to the base of the card.
For the remainder of the background I used the same technique to apply Weathered Wood, Iced Spruce and Pumice Stone. Once everything was nice and dry I watered down a small amount of Dylusions white paint and using a paint brush, I painted over a stencil.
Thank you for looking and I hope you get the chance to join in. For all the details click here .

Your birds look fantastic in any color.....pink gives them the girly look. All the details are so fun, just like you.. I'm off to find the card you made for the baby girl. My internet wasn't working so I couldn't comment. TFS

Another delightful card. I love that background - with the soft colours. More long, long legs too. Looks like one of them is developing severe arthritis in her knees though. Love the way you have dressed the girls in their finest gear. Specially that pink tutu! Gorgeous.
