I went the metal foil tape route today as I needed a masculine Valentine. I cut some chipboard hearts and applied these and some sequins and drywall tape to a scrap piece of cardstock for the border panel. I then applied several pieces of the foil tape on top and burnished as I went. I scribbled in some areas with the stylus and outlined the hearts as well. Black paint was dabbed on over that and some of it was wiped away. The rest is pretty self explanatory. TFL!

Prolly, this is a perfect masculine card! I love the embossed foil strip, especially paired with burlap heart. Wonderful!

This is one of my favorite techniques, Polly and love how you used it on only part of the card! This is SO cool! Love the way you embossed this and the hearts are SO perfect for Valentines day!

I have metal foil tape, so why have I never done this? Polly, you always think out of the box. This card is pretty fabulous!
