John is such an outdoor buff and loves all things animals and plants. I stamped the Stampscape trees and using the MISTI, lined up the Gerda Steiner squirrel on the branch along side it. Colored with pencils and copics, fed it through the printer for the Photoshop branch brushes and sponged. Used a piece of twine to string the hearts. The hearts were cut from mixed media paper that I dribbled reinkers on and spritzed it. Thanks for stopping by.

Oh, Nancy, another beautifully colored and made card! Wow, after coloring it all - you were brave enough to put it into the printer to get the other branches?! Wow, you go girl! Amazing, and I love the squirrel and the sweet hearts hanging by the twine! So glad to see you posting again! Sending warm hugs!

That tree looks so amazingly real, Nancy, and your branches always make me drool. The placement of the squirrel is perfection. Living in an urban environment, we don't get much wildlife, so it was very exciting when a little squirrel adopted our yard a few months ago. He finds apples in the neighborhood and eats his breakfast on my fence most mornings. Fantastic card.

Me, too, me, too! Wonderful to catch you in the galleries today. So playful, so well thought out...love the movement in the sentiment, the addition of 'real' time branches...John will love this!
And I always enjoy reading about the creative process.

Gosh Nancy, somehow I missed seeing this card!! I thought I had subscribed to you gallery??? Ratz! Same thing happens when Susie post!!
Anyway, you have some kind of magic touch my friend! Between stamping and the computer you do amazing things!! That little squirrel is adorable and having him hung upside down makes him even more endearing! I love how you threaded the twine through, wow, I could swear you tossed those hearts up over that branch!
So darling!
