Today my card fits 2 ways to use it challenges. I had planned to do last Thurs. 'our little corner of the world' but there just wasn't time. Then, today's 'baby it's cold outside' was perfect for my idea for last week.
So, my corner of the world is NE Ohio, Fairport Harbor on Lake Erie. Fairport is a village with the lake as our northern border & the Grand River on the west & south sides. In days gone by, we were a bustling port & huge freighters still come in to the stone docks. We have a lighthouse (my avatar photo) & marine museum, which sit at the top of a hill. It's a great sledding hill & you go down really fast. It's known as the beach hill throughout Lake County, the smallest in Ohio.
For today's challenge, 'baby it's cold outside' is sledding down the beach hill. I used a lighthouse die (unknown) & embossed it with the Sizzix brick folder. The 'sled' is SU edgelit that I cut off the horse. The hill is probably about this steep! I used I/O lower case alphabet dies.
If you are interested, here is info on the Fairport Light.
Thanks for stopping by.
Edit to add there is NO danger of sledding into the lake!

I remember you telling us a little about Fairport before - but the sledding hill is new to me. Your card does remind me of once when we visited friends who have a caravan park by the seaside- it was just after Christmas and we left my parents' house in heavy snow. Even by the seaside there was snow - it was amazing to see it on the beach and drifting on the dunes. Any snow here is rare, by the sea even more so. Thanks for the memories your beautiful CAS card brought back. And it is indeed perfect for both the WT challenges.
