oh, Maura, what enticing colors you served up here! I'll pass on the pie...but find me dancin', wearing' pink in a field of pumpkins!
I just love serendipities and here's one for you. My son texted me recently to say, I have something for you, Mom. He had been to MECCA (our Materials Exchange Center for Community Arts) with his girlfriend last week. And found the 'blot' stamp...I love it. Was probably .25 cents...priceless to me. And just perfect for my CC entry. When I saw the colours posted, I knew where this one was headed.
The colors were swiped onto the 'blot' stamper, Tim Holtz's Distress Markers positioned with a stamp positioner. The Basic Grey 'B Line' cassette tapes were perfect for illustrating the colors. The Stampers Anonymous sentiment seemed just right to me as the CC is a limiting call. I added the dashes down the left side to frame the piece and the cool nib pen dipped into that pumpkin pie ink! Can you see the shadow ink bottle? It has spilled...
So I hope you find yourself thinking on what's limiting you today and bust through...might have to ink a few stamps and practice, but what fun it is to play and get our hands dirty! Thanks for your comments, they are burst of creativity.

How fun, Susan! I'm LOL at the cassette tapes..I can remember seeing pulled out ribbons of tape sometimes on the road & I just knew that was one frustrated driver, lol. Well..those tapes had a way of breaking & twisting.

What a thoughtful son, Susan. I love the blot stamp sets so many companies have come out with; so many ways to get creative with them! Wonderful card using the challenge colors.

How cool that your son bought you a stamp! Mine would not as they think I have too many already! They are probably right! Love the sentiment!
