With the winter chill being felt even here in South Florida, how about some roses? I love roses and always love them paired up with pretty teacups and coffee mugs, so it was fun coloring this image. It's a digital image (a new one from Power Poppy), and I colored it with Copic markers and used my MISTI to stamp a sentiment from a clear set. I did use a fine line marker to give the sense of a table and colored the "tablecloth" and "wall." Keeping it simple, I matted it with a small scalloped rectangle die and adhered it to the card base - an easy and very mail friendly card. I can see using just portions of this image and may even make some gift sets for a friend or two who love to host tea parties. Hope you like it, and thanks for taking a closer look. Have a great week, and keep warm!

Cheryl, I am mad as I subscribed to your gallery and haven't gotten a notice of your uploads, so I decided to check out to see if I missed anything. I LOVE roses and teapots, so this resonates with me. As always, your coloring is impeccable. What a great cheerful card on such a cold day. We're supposed to have lots of wind and some snow this weekend. I don't mind it as long as I don't have to drive in it, but unfortunately "work" calls. Hopefully, it will be gone by Monday when I have to drive to work. Keep those beautiful flowers coming!

I can just smell those roses, Cheryl. What beautiful and perfect coloring, as always. Your line for the table and wall was just what was called for and made those roses and cups look right at home. I love this card.

Such beauty, Sweet Cheryl. I am fascinated with your vision. I would never have thought to draw a line suggesting a table. How creative you are. Of course, the way the image is colored is magnificent. Your card is unquestionably gorgeous. You have such talent, Cheryl. Hugs and love my friend.

This is such a beautiful card - and of course roses are always so pretty in all colours. Love the way you have set the table with the pretty blue and white tea set as well. As for "stay warm" - we are in the middle of an incredible heat wave at the moment - so would love a blast of cool air sent over.
