Vicki is our hostess this week, and she has us celebrating the new year with black, silver and gold! (The dessert option is New Year's Eve!)
I decided to make a shaker card. I really enjoy making them, although they're a bit time-consuming! This one is going to our daughter's mother-in-law along with a nice bottle of wine. The background music is a download, and most of the rest is pretty self-explanatory.
For the flourish at the top left (silver) and the leaf spray (gold) I used a Jennifer McGuire free download. You print out a page on your laser printer (must be laser, not inkjet) that comes out solid black. Then you can punch or die cut shapes from that sheet and run them through a laminating machine with transfer foil. They come out the color of the foil you use.
Thanks for stopping by, and please play along with us this week! Oh, and I want to wish you the very merriest of Christmases!

Lovely New Year's Eve card for your daughter's MIL. Shakers are the trend now and, I agree, time-consuming to make. Like the sparkle frame to hold your sequins and sentiment panel.
