At long last here is my card for Sabrina's fun box fold challenge. You wouldn't believe how much trouble I had LOL.....finally the penny dropped and I worked it out. I have whipped up 4 more of these in the time it took me to make this. What a brilliant challenge - thanks Sabrina.
Because of the window die, I positioned the front panel at the top of the base fold. Because of the over hanging sign and bike wheel, I will make an envelope and insert a piece of cardboard.
This card was inspired by a recent little holiday to an old gold mining town; in its day every second building was a hotel. One pub survived and now all the old ones have been converted into fabulous bakeries, lolly shops and tearooms.
Thanks for looking and thanks again Sabrina for another FUN challenge.

Susie, this is wonderful. Love how you take a basic technique and make it your own unique work of art. I have visions of you making different little shops for a Christmas village that could be displayed. The black bg and striped awning are perfect....love the bicycle die. Thanks for sharing your awesome take on this card. There is a half finished card on my table...need to finish it sometime. Thanks for the inspiration. Fav'd

Wow Susie, what a great idea for the box fold!! You are da bomb girlfriend! I wish I could give you a big hug so some of that creativity could rub off onto me! Heehee! I LOVE your shop window and the bike outside is just icing on the cake! I'm so glad the penny dropped! LOL! You so crack me up. I think being around you would be good for my health (since laughter is the best medicine, right?)!
Fantastic Susie...of course!

This is so amazing and fun! It looks like a tremendous amount of work, but the results are worth it! Into my faves for a future attempt for me for one of my country-western dance friends.

Super charming card Susie! Love the great story that inspired this darling card and I so know what you mean about the first card taking so much longer than the next...story of our card making.
