I'm playing in Lori Craig's Free and Easy DTGD challenge--and I might have gotten just a little bit carried away! I've been taking pictures of flowers everywhere this summer, and I wanted to sketch and color this purple echinacea. I first sketched in pencil, then inked with my warm gray Copic 0.1 Multinliner. Next I erased all of my pencil lines and started coloring. . . and coloring. . . ;-)
**My original line art (both gray and black) is available toward the bottom of this blog post, free for personal use: http://debbiedesigns.typepad.com/mus...ms-sketch.html
Enjoy!

An exquisite work of art, worthy of a fine botanical illustration book or a frame - you're more than a crafter, you're an artist. Beautiful sketching, colouring and capturing of colour and depth with light and dark!
