Hello dear friends! I know it has been so long since I posted anything, but I did want to share this very special card with you all.
It is going to the family of the man who donated his lungs. I received this gift of life on May 9! There have been a few small bumps in the road, but God is so GOOD!!! He truly has blessed me and brought me thru everything! I am so thankful for my dear hubby who stayed with me every step of the way! Also, a big THANK YOU for all your prayers and for checking up on me!
I wrote a three page letter thanking the family and will include it with the card.
Now I need to up-date my photo, because I don't need oxygen anymore!!! YAY!!!

I'm so happy for you, Kathleen. I cry at Publix commercials, so you know I had tears in my eyes as I read your story and the comments from your SCS friends. It is so good to see you back in the gallery. Your card is gorgeous and will be appreciated by that generous family.

Oh, Kathleen, what a beautiful card, and I know this card and the hand-written letter you include will truly touch this donor family deeply. Praise God for how He has worked a miracle in your body, and I continue to pray for you and DH! Tender "squishy hugs," as my DD sis would say!

OMGoodness, this is so gorgeous, Kathleen. I have a feeling, before they read your letter, they'll be overwhelmed with tears when they see this card. It is so soft and warm and shows the love, admiration and thankfulness for their son giving you the gift of life. Yes, Good is awesome, of this we are sure. I am elated you've come through this with flying colors (with just, as you say, a few bumps in the road). I'll be praying that your health is restored fully so you will be able to continue to look forward to a life filled with unexpected, but good, journeys. God will continue to keep you in the palm of His Hand. For that, I am so elated for you. Take care and listen to those drs!!!
