Thank you, Karen, for some great colors this week that worked for me, especially since we were able to have some dessert! I had half a dessert by using green for my leaves. I "fussy water-colored" this beautiful digital image called (Camellias) and then fussy cut it (and, yes, it was a lot of work - haha!). Since I used watercolor paper, the paper was easy to give it dimension with my Empressor tool on an old mouse pad to shape the back of the flowers and leaves. Then I used some bitty pieces of 3M dimensional tape (with a tweezer) to the backs of the flowers/leaves, added some glue to the branches, and applied my flowers to my background. The background is a decorative die glued to Crisp Cantaloupe and then matted with Basic Grey.
Thanks for taking a closer look, and I hope you like it. It's going to be for one of our DIL's for her birthday coming up later this month. She is a joy to us. Hope you have a great week, and now I need to start another card - I've been behind the last week or two. Stop by my blog for more thoughts and details.

Another beautiful and oh so elegant card. I love camellias - have just come in from a wander around the garden looking for a hint of Spring and some of the early camellias have flowers on them - a bit frosted though - but still a nice sign of things to come. The flowers are so beautifully coloured - and all that fussy cutting!! I love your collection of perfect die cut backgrounds.
