Say "hello" to Polly. When I was finishing my card, I saw yesterday's challenge and was so excited to see May flowers! So this is for that challenge (thank you, Lisa, for a great challenge). And this is the new Power Poppy digital image that is available today. I was surprised by all the amazing colors of foxglove! I found one called "Polkadot Polly," sort of a peachy/apricot. So I colored the entire image along with the three darling bumblebees (who just love the nectar of foxglove!).
After coloring my image, I decided to use an oval die and added a mat and just had to pierce it (you know me, eh?). I used an embossed and matted background, added the oval, and then dyed a piece of sheer ribbon to match the colored card stock. I tied a bow, added a sentiment from one of my other sets (attaching it with dyed dental floss), and finally added it to my card base.
I really had fun making this card and have colored several other images to practice. Hope you like this one and will check out the rest of the amazing cards the team has made (and the Bloom Brigade joins us today because it's Friday). Thanks for taking a closer look, and have a wonderful weekend! Hugs!
More "chat" on my blog, along with the entire blog hop list.

Cheryl, I needed a "pick me up" and I knew just where to go - YOUR GALLERY! And, boy, what a beauty. Did you see how many times this made the favorites for the week???? Your coloring is perfection and the whole feel of this well put together card with the pretty dyed ribbon, tag and ef. I can't believe you paper pierced that by hand. Your talent never ceases to amaze me. (P.S. Thanks for mentioning 2 of my recent cards in your favorites for the week) Hugs!
