This is for Linda's challenge tortoise or hare...we let others know our stamping style...this card took me an hour which is average for me. I can go longer..maybe up to 2 hours but that might be a mixed media or some technique that takes longer (or I'm just not satisfied with my result so I make several backgrounds, etc). My only tip for making faster cards is to participate in the VSN or DTGD challenges where some or all of the time limits on making a card is 1 hour..that has helped me speed up my process.

Thanks Polly for the tip about the VSN. It does teach you to organize your time. Sweet card today....like that bottom border. Thanks for playing in the challenge.

I never thought about participating in the VSN to enhance my 'speed'. good idea. Your card is perfectly darling with all your spring colors and that charming and well colored image.

Polly, I just love the patterns you've used on this card. It speaks of Easter, flowers and the joy of childhood. As I have been reading the write-ups from our stamping SCS sisters I started thinking -- sometimes we just don't have the luxury of time and need to make a quick card. I think your advice was great. Like other disciplines, the more you practice, the better (and quicker) you get. Lovely card, Polly. I enjoyed taking a peek (smiling).
