Good morning, sweet friends! It's starting to warm up a little around the country, so spring is coming - and so are the flowers! And one of my favorite flowers is the daffodil! It's the newest Power Poppy digital image called Dancing with Daffodils. But this is NOT the entire image. I used GIMP and Microsoft Word to "digitally mask" just the daffodils, and there is more information on my blog how I did that. And the links for the rest of the Instant Gardeners are there, and wow, did they ever make some beautiful cards. I really enjoyed coloring these daffodils and used a decorative die popped over blue (I just love blue and yellow together).
Thanks for taking a closer look, and I hope you like it! Visit my blog for some hints about using digital images.
Big hugs and stay warm, everyone! Spring is on the way!

Another beauty here, Cheryl. I love what you have done with the new digi. Gotta get this stamp for sure after seeing what you have done with it. Beautiful work!

Cheryl, I am really overwhelmed up here in NC. Your coloring is stellar. You obviously are certified 'pro' with your copics. You use those frames so beautifully to create a dynamic focal point. I need to get on over to your blog. I'm starting (reluctantly) to use digis, so I can certainly benefit from your tips. there's no question why you are on PPDT. They would have been foolish if they hadn't selected you. Your work is gorgeous.

Another gorgeous daffodil card. Your coloring is fabulous. What a sweet sentiment for these friendly flowers. The lacey die cut adds such a lovely touch. Very nicely done. TFS
