While in a creative slump a friend challenged me to create something using a straw and blowing ink around. After many failures getting the ink to move I found the bubbles technique by Dina in the Mix28 challenge. Once again, I was getting little color on the card until I kept adding colors to the bubble mixture. It started out as an ugly yellow green but I kept adding reds, yellows and orange along with a bit of brown. I stamped the image and added gesso to the parts I wanted to color. Colored with pencils. I cut apart my Inkyliscious background stamp to use the words separately. This happened. Thanks for looking.

I just got home from an all day crop and found this STUNNING card!! You cal this a SLUMP???? If blowing bubbles on my cards is going to turn out like this, I am on my way out there to see how you did this!! The coloring is amazing (even if it took mixing in more colors to get what you wanted) and this image looks fantastic, finishing it off the way you did - into my FAVS - RIGHT NOW!!

This turned out AMAZING Nancy...I love your perseverance to make that background the amazing piece of work that it is! I have all these visuals with blowing through a straw and/or making bubbles...neither technique which I know NOTHING about, but I am SO impressed with your outcome. As usual your stellar color work blows my mind. I ALWAYS love your signature hand stitching...which adds the cherry on top!
