I stamped my image in pale gray for a no line coloring look and stamped additional branches along the edge of the card. Colored the bird with copics and enhanced with pencils. Darkened the branches with pencil and added the red paint to the berries. Sponged the sky using a torn piece of paper with grays, pink and a bit of pale blue. Ran it through the printer for the sentiment, misaligned the whole thing and printed over the image. Had to start all over. Added just a little iridescent ice on the edges. Dang, I hate when that happens. Another senior moment. Thanks for stopping by.

Oh, Nancy, I've missed this one and am in LOVE with it! This precious chickadee is so soft and delicate like they are in real life! Your coloring is amazing, and I love the soft and snowy scene you've achieved for him, sitting on the branch with those wonderful berries! I can see why this has been a popular one, my sweet friend! You are amazing! Warm hugs!!

Wow, how did I miss this little bird when you put him up here! I just love the way you did the background (except the part of having to redo it all) and sky! The coloring on the bird is just so life like I think if I look long enough I will see him move! I see the irridescent ice at the edge of the window frame! Just amazing! Can't wait to see what you do next!

Beautifully done Nancy. The bird looks so soft and sweet with the no-line stamping. Great job on sponging the sky too. Sorry it took two tries, but I'm glad you persevered!
