This is for IC468 and Resurrect Antiques is our inspiration site today. I was inspired by the Christmas tree on Dec 25, 2013 Merry Christmas blog post found here: http://www.blog.resurrectantiques.com/merry-christmas/
I took the bonus challenge and used red rhinestones as ornaments on my tree. I have had them for a few years and have only used a couple in the past. I thought they were sized perfectly for tree ornaments to accompany the white pearls, bows and candy canes.
The picture on the post had some old-fashioned toys including a train so I added a red train at the base of my tree. I couldn't resist adding a few cats to add life to the scene. In reality I should have popped a cat coming out of the middle of the tree. At least that is something that takes place at my house. LOL!
I have taken a few step by step photos of how I created my Christmas tree. You can check out the tutorial and additional pictures on my blog post here: http://www.kittiekraft.com/2014/11/o...ree-scene.html

Kitty,
this is a spectacular full tree with amazing red ribbons and candy canes! The pearls were such a glorious touch to it! This looks like it could be sitting in anyone's home!

Oh my word Kittie, this is just such an incredible Christmas card! I am not able to fit small pieces together like this so they have proper scale and you make it seem effortless, which is so cool. I love all the details on the tree and the swag, and then there are the cats - how fun! And the little train too. You think of everything Kittie and what a true delight it is to enjoy this card you made. ~Karen.
