What a fabulous site to be inspired by. This scene is really a conglomeration of scenes & colors, but the main landscape composition is from this http://fineartamerica.com/featured/f...-graphics.html
I just love trees on the water. I sponged the riverbank & tree foliage colors in quite lightly at first, then with more intensity. Masked the trees on the right, swiped the ink pad direct to paper across to create water.
Spritzed water onto the area beneath the right side trees & dabbed with a tissue to remove some blue ink, and then sponge in a little color for the reflections.
Lots of little dots stamped to create texture in the autumn tree foliage. Finished with a little plant on the waters edge.

So...I live alone (well, I do have birds)
I have been literally exclaiming out loud comments like:
"Holy cow, how did she do this?"
"Oh my stars, this is the most beautiful card I've seen in a long, long while!"
I need to show this to xx{my DIL} she is an artist and this looks like something she would create if she made cards."
and so on.
I hope that you realize how beautiful this piece of art is. Thank you for sharing!

Cindy, thanks for stopping by and commenting on my lacy vase today. I love the gorgeous colour here on your stunning autumn scene. You've captured the season at its glorious peak.
