It's Teapot Tuesday's 300th challenge, and it's Tickle a Teapotter week, when we send our cards to each other. The challenge this week is to help decorate a Teapotters' Lounge in our mythical Teapotterville.
In honor of our 300th challenge, I tried to step up my game with a side stairstep card. I have even more respect for Susie Australia's awesome cards after trying this.
I started by covering the "walls" with a dp that looked like wallpaper. I created a little "outdoor" scene with watercolors and placed it behind the window die (an RAK from Susie Australia) and added a lace valance.
I added some woodgrain paper to the steps to give us hardwood floors. The urn is stamped on copper paper and cut out; the plant is a die-cut that was cut in two and artfully arranged. The only chair stamp I have is an Adirondak chair, which didn't seem appropriate, so I found some line art online and paper-pieced the wing chair.

Great view from your window. Love your chair and the plant reminds me of some of mine--as have several and when time comes they go on porches for the summer and hubby says house looks so bit with all the plants outside--Nice card.

Lovely little resting area - I believe I'll get my tea and a book and stay a while...
Great job! Very clever to create a room with a view on your side-step card!
