This is for the color challenge CC474 "Very Pink Pudding".
After searching through 50 shades of pink (I don't have either SU color) trying to find one that was closest to Pink Pirouette and doing the same with all my greens, I decided to go with a print paper that encompassed all three colors as closely as possible. I happened to find this beautiful paper in my free paper down load file from Pinterest.
I cut the Spellbinder edge twice (at an angle as you can see...no easy feat...took a couple tries to get them to match up) and backed it using plain paper closest to the challenge colors. I cut my Spellbinder (Rose Creations)) rose from both the down loaded paper and pink and layered it with both colors. I added my favorite Star Dust stickles to the edges and to the insides of the roses on the paper, which you cannot see in this photo. I used the leaf strip from Cheery Lynn Design, added some of what I think of as hairy twine (I know there is a proper name but I am having a senior moment) in a double bow. I cut out the Sizzix Thank You twice in pink and green and off set it. (I also cut it apart as it is a stacked thank you).
This is a VERY belated thank you, and I wanted it to be very special and I just could NOT come up with a design until I saw the challenge colors. It has taken me TWO days to make this which is why it is so late. I stayed up until 2 last night and finally had to go to bed and we were out today at a job fair so I couldn't finish it until we got back. This is why I could never make money at making cards.... I am sooooo slow! Thank you so much Karen for the delicous color challenge!
I appreciate you all stopping by to take a look!
