Fran (philsmom) shared a beautiful poem of five companions. Our destination is Leesville Louisianna, to a Korean lady with advanced stage cancer. She is a friend of txcrafter60.
Having the Far East DP really made an easy starting point. I wanted to make a kind of cherry blossom looking tree. The flowers and foliage were found in the wedding section of Michaels. I just cut them apart and added them to the die cut branch.
You really cant see it, but the butterflies wings are all lifted from the paper. They are covered with stickles and have a dot of black enamel accents. I used a Veramark pen to make a short trail and added the gold Perfect Pearls. So, in real life, there is a lot of shimmer. Oh and the dragonfly was made the same way.
I will include some scripture on the inside. Thanks for stopping by!

Kathleen, this beautiful spring card is an Asian Delight! The flowers glisten as if after a spring rain, while I love the glistening trails the butterflies have left behind! A real delight!

Kathleen this is beautiful! The first word that came to mind when I saw this is "peaceful" which is so perfect for her. I love how you combined your gorgeous paper with the blossoms and butterflies!

This is so beautiful and peaceful. The butterflies and cherry blossom look wonderful and I love the colours of the paper. I love your little solo flying dragon fly too. A truly lovely card my friend.

Lucky you to still have some of the prettier sheets of that DP left - I think I only have the less useful ones at this stage, LOL. It certainly makes a beautiful background for your spray of blossom. I love the pearly butterfly trails, too.
