This is my second creation inspired by Salley Mavor's Wee Folk site. I chose this little man with a house ornament (first close up) on the entry seen here http://weefolkstudio.com/2013/12/01/...d-this-season/ . I doodled in the grass and did some free form paper piercing on the grass and around the edge, and for cloud shapes. The borders are made with a stamp I carved a couple of weeks ago...I added felt flowers to embellish those. I hope you will join us this week for the IC challenge..go take a peek at Salley's site. You will be in awe!

What a wonderful take on the inspiration Polly! That site is amazing and so is the artist! I am in awe of the cutting you did on here as well as carving your own stamp! You are so creative!

Yes, I can so see why you are in love with Salley Mavor's work! It's like yours, only you use paper (and lots of other unexpected things!) This is a truly charming piece.
Polly, you are a true original. In the most wonderful way!
