I tried another Heather T tutorial and I must say I have such a respect for her. Her fabulous card can be found here. What she can do in 15 minutes takes me 2 days. After a series of experiments and senior moments I finally finished. I didn't have the die for the shadow. I have since learned that masking and reflection techniques do not go hand in hand. In order to do it, I masked the upper portion of the card and stamped the reflection in full black. I then scanned it and lightened it. I printed on a full sheet of paper. I stamped the image on a piece of acetate and lined up the top portion of the image. With the acetate in place I masked the lower portion, positioned the stamp positioner and slid out the acetate. It finally worked two days later.
Thanks for looking.

Gorgeous card, Nancy! The final result seems to be worth all of the effort that you put into it. Heather is amazing. Seems like her talent comes so natural and just flows.

Outstanding!!! I'm naming you Heather II. I just love looking at this card. The shadows on the snow are just awesome. Two days....I can't imagine how long it would have taken me. :-)

What a beautiful work of art this is! You have captured the winter cold and light so wonderfully! I agree with a previous poster and prefer your card to your inspiration's nice as hers is. Framable art, that's what this is! TFS

I think you did a spectacular job on your reflections and masking despite your 'senior moments'! LOL I love the soft background with the sudden pop of WOW!

Gadzooks Nancy, would you please give an online class on how to scan and manipulate images! You have an extremely acute talent for creating what you need from your computer and printer. I love what you've achieved here!
