Sharon is the destination for our cards today. She loves studying the bible and loves the color purple. The sentiment was computer generated. The Penny Black stamp was colored with Memento ink and distress markers before spritzing with water. Why the dots? The inevitable black smudge I always seem to get. Wish they would sell enamel accents by the gallon. The upper right corner looked a bit bare so a scroll was stitched to mime the flight of the butterfly. Thanks for looking.

Nancy this is so beautiful. Just looking at it makes me feel peaceful. It looks so beautiful with the purple that Sharon loves. I wouldn't be surprised if she frames this lovely work of art. It sure looks wonderful in My Favs.

I love this. If I were to CASE it, I would make sure to smudge in exactly the same place so I could have black dots just like yours. I think they are the perfect accent!

Wow, friend....another work of art! It feeds the soul, just to sit and take in all the elements of this serene card. Did you sponge your main panel? And did you hand stitch the corner? Lovely!

OH how I LOVE that beautiful watercolor iris, and your stitched butterfly flight is GENIUS!!! I have a SU spritzer (that you use with a pen...Tim Holtz just released a version of it) and it has saved me more than once. I want some one to develop something that takes the smudge OFF the paper with out leaving any marks. Nancy, if we could figure that out we'd be laughing all the way to the bank!!
