IC420 takes us to Birgit's blog and although I can't read what she's written, I sure can drool over the eye candy that she posts in the form of little pieces of art. I've been a long time admirer of Biggan here on SCS and quickly found this beauty on her blog.
I took some kitchen string and made a long braid that I then wrapped into a circle to make my wreath. Used silver brads to decorate and fasten it to my panel that is matted in some dark red card stock. Tied some silver cording into a bow and then used the ends to wrap over the top of the card to give the illusion it is hanging over a door. Add a simple Merry Christmas sentiment to finish things off!
Thanks for taking a peek!

Who knew kitchen string could make such a beautiful wreath? What a fab job you did. I love it!

This is just perfect!! I have got to try that some time about the braiding like that!! Gives the card such depth.
