Hello friends,
Sorry I'm late again but the benefit of being late is being able to add another challenge!! Heehee!!
So I have my Cake Walk and sketch too!
I DO NOT take after my mom when it comes to cake decorating!! This would never have done for her!! My mom was a perfectionist and every cake, rose, shell, scallop, sugar bell or whatever she did...ALWAYS came out perfect!! I always admired my mom's cakes!
Oh, this cake had a cute girl standing with it but as you Tea Potters probably remember, I already did that for a 100th birthday (I think that was it). So I cut her out to make it look new. Talk about amputations...Susie Australia...poor thing only had an arm left on the cake ...but I made sure to cover it up. Heehee! Oh, forgot to tell you that some little mischievous fairies got into my kitchen last night and colored all the frosting with an abundance of rainbow colors...I left the food coloring out!
Thanks for looking!

FAB, towering layer cake Robin! Great mix of color and patterns and cool-looking, embellished frosting. Thanks for decorating a FAB cake for the cake walk!

Oh I wish I had a piece of that cake right now. No I'm not stuffed today. We had our TG meal a little earlier last weekend.
Cute card and great change up with the sketch.

What a gorgeous colourful layered cake - all these people who say that they can't bake IRL are dab hands at cooking up beautiful cakes for their cards. I'm glad you left the colours out for your frosting fairies - I just hope they didn't leave a mess!
