After making a couple of prototypes, I got the measurements down and fine tuned all the embellishments to get this window on a snowy scene step card.
The c/s that the snowy die cuts are cut from is by Marianne Creatables, called Snow paper.
I've embossed the card base with the Winter Magic ef, the inside back has Ranger chunky ep that you heat from the back, to look like stars or snow.
The front layer is the first step and is attached directly to the inside of the card base. The second and third layers are each a little higher than the first.
Now I was inspired by a card that JoBear2 made, you can see it here IC409 Dreaming of a White Christmas! by JoBear2 at Splitcoaststampers
I found the die on my LSS' vendor site (very dangerous to my wallet), asked her to order it and well, here's my final result. Now on a recent card Jocelyn made, I commented on how her card enabled me, and how my making a card with that die and others, giving it to my LSS , enabled many other ladies (I'm such a good enabler). Isn't that what this is all about?!
I'll be making about a dozen of these for Christmas.
