I am now in Christmas mode and loving it! Thanksgiving is coming in one week, so this weekÂ’s Shining the Light challenge is to make a Christmas or Thanksgiving card. I used the new Poinsettia Wreath, which has a matching die set (love that!). I gave the wreath a bit of dimension, added the cord and Stickles, and placed it on a new Spellbinders die I hadnÂ’t used yet. ItÂ’s actually an easy card, and the wreath is easy to color and die cut. I plan to make a few more of these for some special people on my list.
Thanks so much for “stopping by” and leaving a comment! Have a wonderful week as we start thinking about the many things we have to be thankful for! I truly thank God for His many blessings in my life.

Cheryl, this is beautiful and makes me want that wreath and die. I've used that Timeless Rectangle die a few times myself to make the filigree hinged card and just love it. Yours is beautiful in red.

OMGoodness Cheryl, I didn't see this card until now. First, I love that die from Spellbinders and have it. I never tire of seeing it used. Your wreath and poinsettia's are colored beautifully. Another element I really like is the sentiment font. The right font adds compatibility and synergy to the overall design - this one is beautiful! And the thin gold cord ties it all together. Beautiful Christmas card my sweet friend, just beautiful.
