What a beautiful gallery Cathy has. I decided to case this gorgeous card of hers. I stamped the sledding kids, scanned it, enlarged it a bit and deleted the background on the stamp to create my own. The trees are kitchensinkstamps and the tiny birds are Coronado Island. The scene was sponged and the sky was airbrushed. Light lines were drawn with copics for the sled path and a Tim Holtz flourish was embossed in iridescent ice. Enjoy your reign Cathy and thank you for looking.

Oh my! Your light lines are amazing! Mine would have squiggled all over the place! I love your trees. Can I ask what color ink you used? I love the silhouette of the tree in the forefront! Terrific card and Oh YES, going in my faves!

Oh Nancy this is stunning work - well deserved fav mention .....
You make it sound so simple, sponge here, airbrush there but I know it takes great skill to produce gems like this - a real stand out from the crowd card.
Wonderful work ....

Truly incredible, Nancy. If I had not read your description, I would have thought you found the perfect print and added the silhouetted sledding children. Your bg is MAGNIFICENT! I'm still thinking, "How did she do that??" : )
