Susie, our QFTD! I am so excited! Susie's gallery is full of inspiring work, and each one has it's own beautiful story! Last night I chose Susie's His Love Endures Forever card, for the simple beauty of it, and also the story.
My story is for Vanessa (yes, the Zumba Girl), who is soon to be married. I used Susie's frame, and added blooms in batches of three. I added three CL vines, three clusters of diamonds, and three letters. The silver heart represents God's love that does endure forever. The number three also represents the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. And as I made this card for Vanessa, I thought of the Scripture from Ecclesiastes 4:9-12,
"Two are better than one,
because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down,
one can help the other up.
But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up. Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone? Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves.A cord of three strands is not quickly broken."
Susie, thank you for your beautiful cards, lively write ups, wonderful sense of humor, and most of all your friendship. You are treasured. Hugs....

Stunning card. Wow what a wonderfully symbolic card with the theme of 3s. This will mean so much to Vanessa. I love how all of your creations carry such a strong message and show your loving caring heart. I especially love the silver heart (I love anything with hearts but you already knew that ;) ) and I love the cluster of diamonds.
