I could not resist this image from Impression Obsession by Dina Kowal although it was a bit challenging to color. The image was stamped, then scanned to print in low quality. It was then colored with copics and pencils and lightly sponged the edges with distress inks. The background is free digital paper entitled "Heirloom" from scrapbook.com. The starburst is a brush from scrapgirls.com. I added a bit more black and gray by sponging the edges. It was hand stitched. I found a flourish on the internet, printed it on ink jet acetate and traced and pierced it for stitching. Wasn't sure doodling would count if done with a needle.

I'm only just getting round to commenting on September so have only just seen this stunning card.....
You are so inventive with what you do to create your cards - I would never in a million years have thought to scan, print, pierce and stitch to create a flourish. Your work is just beautiful - so many wonderful details ....
