This is for CAS239. I loved this sketch and wanted to make another card for the challenge. I did, however, break the rules as I made this one an A2 card size. I thought the layout was perfect to allow my fall leaves to be the main focal point.
I had lots of fun coloring the leaves with Pan Pastel colors and trying out my new metallic rich gold. Oh my goodness. The pictures does not do these leaves justice. If you love gold but in a more subdued appearance then you will definitely want to try out the rich gold. I applied the three colors on the leaves-green, orange, red oxide and then went over the color with a layer of the rich gold. It adds such a touch of elegance. I used the green pastel to color the edges of the back layer and applied the gold over it. I wanted that color to match the leaves with the gold accent. Too bad you can't see it well.

so, so pretty!. I got some of those pan pastels but haven't used them much yet. Should I get the special applicator. I forgot to order that. But anyway, your card is beautiful!
