Birthday card for my faithful friend, Violeta. We started out as co-workers, became close friends, and now she is family. Violeta has done much "mothering" to me and many others over the years. And Thursday this precious friend will turn 80. She began playing piano in her 50's, still sings in her church choir, and her life touches everyone, because she loves everyone well. And, she does sing and make music with all her soul!
When I saw this card made by Wendy in her Mom's RAK gallery, I knew it was the one to case for my friend Violeta. The Scripture is so perfect to reflect Violeta's life. Happiness flows from her! The keyboard is a Google image, printed on high gloss photo paper. The piano top was free handed, and is up on thick foam dimensionals to make it appear as if the keys are below.
Wendy, thank you for your inspiration, and thanks for looking!

Violeta may have blessed your life by being a part of it, but you have returned the blessing a hundredfold, my Friend!! Your piano card is nothing short of breathtaking, and will surely be one of her most prized gifts on her birthday. Love all the "Bloom's Special touches" that make each of your creations not only a work of art, but of your heart as well!
So glad that I didn't miss this beauty, even if I am late - bad Greenie!!

Pure creative genius flows into that inspired brain and out again. How very perfect for sweet, motherly, never say never, Violetta. (Maybe it's not too late to take those piano lessons!! Love how you found the keyboard and brought it to life and popped up that freehanded piano shape. Again, awe inspiring perfection, sistah. And, it goes without sayin' that you know how to work up one lovely floral configuration;)
