Hi all!! Sorry for the wacky title..I know its suppose to be Snaps and Snails and Puppy Dogs' Tails but I just couldn't resist....I'll blame my warped sense of humor on my migraine headache today.
Over the last few days I have been challenging myself to join the SC challenges each day as well as leave comments for the participants. As I have done so, I have noticed several participants using SUO or SUM. Now mind you it has been a while since I have been able to keep up with the latest trends in SU due to a decrease in our family budget and quite honestly I was envious. Well today I am ecstatic!!! I used ALL Stampin Up...maybe mostly old SU but none the less all SU...no ODBD and to top it off..no ribbon, punches or border dies...and I did use eyelets!!! This has to be a first for me!!!
The bow I made out of Haiku paper to match my background. After all, it is a challenge about designer paper, right?.... My paper was a tad dusty since I have hoarded it for so long but just as BRIGHT as ever. LOL!
The clouds on my image were created with the Oval Scalloped punch and sponging with Soft Sky.
The border along the bottom was hand drawn...Don't look to close as I am sure you will find some flaws.
The Summer Afternoon image is so darling and it was a gift from my dear sister Jeanne. Thanks Jeanne!!
Since it has been close to 100 degrees and so humid it really has felt like summer. Before you know it, Fall and Winter will be here!!
Thanks for a great challenge Linda!! Thanks for looking all!! Have a blessed day!!!

I love the curved border along the bottom to leave a space for the sentiment - so, so pretty! Love the texture and stitching and colors, too - into my faves!

Love your colouring of that sweet image! Those clouds are absolutely amazing. The curvy panel revealing the sentiment looks fabulous too. I love that idea. TFS

Wonderful colors and design on this fabulous card....wow! Love the stitching and I just checked my paper stash and I STILL have some of that Haiku too.
Thanks for the inspiration...
This is a beautiful card!!! I love your bow - is it really made out of paper? Such a cute image too. So sorry about your headache! Hope you feel better soon!

Pretty dp and bow! Beautiful coloring on your image. Sorry to hear about your migraine, it possibly could be due to the hot weather. Heat and humidity sometimes trigger them for me.

Chris, Your card is outstanding! The dp used for the bow and the bottom border look marvelous together. I really like how the sentiment looks stamped underneath. Now why haven't I thought of this? *giggle* You've inspired me today, Chris! : )
